LISA SMITH, SINGER: CLASSIC JAZZ, CONTEMPORARY EDGE!

Winner of 2009, 2010, 2011 & 2013 Rising Star Award, “Best of 2012” Award and rated #1 Jazz Singer in the U.S. on GigMasters.com for 5 years in a row, Lisa Smith moved to Las Vegas in 2002 with her husband, actor & singer Ron Smith (EmceeLasVegas.com). The couple met in California while starring in and co-hosting the famous Wild Bill’s Wild West Extravaganza Show in Buena Park. Prior to that, Lisa spent several years singing in clubs and performing in theatres throughout the Los Angeles/Hollywood area, worked as a Lead Singer aboard Royal Caribbean’s “Song of America” ship, and appeared as a featured soloist in two separate production shows in Tokyo, Japan.

Since relocating to Las Vegas, Lisa has enjoyed jazz appearances at several well-known venues such as the Suncoast Hotel & Casino, South Point Event Center, Rampart Casino, Ritz Carlton Hotel at Lake Las Vegas, Bootlegger Bistro, the Stirling Club, The Tropicana Lounge, Montelago Resort at Lake Las Vegas, Cosmopolitan Hotel, Mandarin Hotel, Becker’s Steakhouse, Four Season’s Hotel, ELARA Hilton Grand Vacations Resort, and the Starbright Theatre in Summerlin. In addition to freelancing as a jazz & big band singer for various corporate events, Lisa Smith also appears regularly with her jazz trio at the Gold Coast Hotel & Casino and local, jazz hot-spot The Dispensary Lounge, performs with well-known tribute group  “Shades of Sinatra,” sings with up-and-coming all-girl jazz trio “Dangerous Curves,” and is the co-writer/co-star of a Broadway Revue called “Back To Broadway” with her husband Ron.
